patrol seats

Post by Doggy »

Has anyone else found that their patrol seats have alot of side to side play in them? Last night my drivers seat was wobbling side to side quite badly so i took it out this morning and found that the door side of the seat base is really flimsy. I bent and bolted on a couple of lengths of flat steel and braced it diagonally down to the gearbox side of the seat and that seems to have fixed the problem. Anyone else had the same problem and fixed it any other way?

No... the only problem I have had has been the foam collapsing.
Car has done 530,000+ hard Kilometers and the seats are original.
Frame work is still solid with very little free play.
