G'Day all
My misses has been driving around in an 85 paj (OME suspension 31in mudders) for the last 6 years but the rust has gotten the better of it and it's generally just about shagged so it has to go. But we have been pretty happy with it (it took an absolute flogging off road before I got my SWB Cruiser to play with) so any way we have just gotten the chance to get a 7/91 NH V6 GLX with straight body no rust, Steel bull bar, and 230 000km. (and it’s yellow so it will match my cruiser) They are asking 10K. Does that sound about right for one of these? Also are their any inherent problems with them that I should look for? And how do they tow? It's not essential but it would be good if it could drag my cruiser (1300kg) around on a car trailer. I would like to hear anything you guy’s have to say about these good or bad
thanks

Have a look at that, its a 98' Pajero, with all the bells and whistles and seems to be going cheap. If your budget can extended a few thou, then maybe send them an email.
Otherwise I have no idea

An NH 3.0 V6 is a good bus especially as a daily driver for the missus.
They are going cheap now so 8-9K for a good nick GLX is about right.
Parts are pretty easily obtainable now days.
A better bet in IMHO for a base platform for serious mods is a GLX 3.5 V6 with auto especially the later SOHC versions.
It all depends on your budget and what the car will be used for.

I just luv my "clacker Jabber"
It won't be moded at all, I have the cruiser for that. It will be used for the missis to drive the kids around, 1 or 2 long trips a year ( 800 to 2500km ) and If it is up to it tow the cruiser from Townsville to LCML 1 or 2 times a year. I'd say it will prob do a very rare bit of sand work and that would be it
