Wide Track Width (where does it come from?)

Now, there is the wide track Feroza and the narrow track Feroza, but where does the extra width come from?
I know that wide track means that the left and right wheels are further apart (ie. wider track).
The back is easy, obviously the axles etc are longer, but what about the front?
I doubt that the chassis would be different (wider), so is it the upper and lower 'A' arms that are longer, or somthing around where the wheels pivot for steering, or do the rims have a larger offset?

My guess would be that the upper and lower 'A' arms of the IFS are longer and therefore the wheels would be further out. (widetrack).
If this is the case then a wide track Feroza should have a little more front wheel travel up and down than the narrow track?

So does anyone know where the difference is???

I think what you posted above Clint is correct. Wider diff at the rear and longer suspension arms/ driveshafts at the front. Front wheel travel could be more, but it would depend on if the front bumpstops are the same and in the same location.

From the info I found when searching for a LSD the diff centres both front and rear are the same for both models too.

The rear is pretty simple and already explained.

As for the front, the A Arms are the same length, only their mounting is further apart. I checked it out with a tape measure when i had mine against a friends narrow track, because of the same curiousity.

I guess there would be a lot of smaller parts that would be different like steering components too?
