Internal Door Panels

Post by troyster »

I have a 90 sierra softtop that, when it rains leaks through at the bottom of the internal door panel and leaves a pool in the bottom of the drivers footwell

1. Does anybody else have this problem?
2. Does anybody know how to remove the panel without destroying it so that I can have a peek inside to see what is going on?

id say its been removed before and the plastic shield has been removed...

simply get anything flat, and insert it between the door anddoor panel and lever it...

Is the overflow instant or does it take a while to begin overflowing?

I'd be looking for the drain holes in the bottom of the door - make sure they aren't blocked or rusted over.

I never had plastic sheeting on the doors of my old spook and never experienced that.
