Another Bloody Body Lift Question
Another Bloody Body Lift Question
Sorry people you must be getting sick of this by now ,but I need to clear something up.I have all the gear to do a 40mm body lift on my lwb patrol.I have spacers made from ultra poly and the 12mm bolts reqd.My question is as to wether or not I need to leave the std body rubbers in place or not.Have heard some say yes and some say that with the poly option they are not reqd.If anyone can clear this up for me it would be appreciated.I would prefer if I did not have to use them as I believe the existing units are flogged out and it will mean buying another set. Also if I do not use them what sort of hieght will I lose from the anticipated 40mm.Thanks.
i would use them for sure, there is not enough give in the poly blocks IMOA and apparently new body mounts are around $400 bucks-but worth every cent. I need to replace them on mine. I would anticipate you would lose at least 25mm without using the factory blocks. I use the poly blocks and the rubber on mine.
