WARN XD9000

Post by XXL Maverick »

I just scored a WARN XD 9000 winch on the weekend for $0. :D When I started to pull it apart, the gears were full of this thick, white, almost like wet ash kind of crap. I assume it is just really old lube that has gone bad. Does anyone know what it is & should I be worried about it? I'm going to strip it bare & rebuild it with new cable etc. Does anyone have a tech diagram of this winch? :?: :?: :?:
