Well the scale's said I weighed 99kg today so the pushy is looking good.
I'm quite happy to leave it in the garage and just ride.

Looking at an unregisted soft top atm. prob being rust in the windsreen area. Q is it fixable. I'm okay with replacing medal and stuff (used to be into escorts which ment I got lots of books on restoration)

Dunno about repairing rust in the screen surround, just replace it with a fibreglass one.

Just screw some perspex to a roll cage, you don't need a windscreen :twisted:

hmm the cops will love that!

The plan is to have an internal cage that I will be able to undress to when i'm on trail.

It's not the surround but the actural body. I'm pretty good with bog

Anywhere in the body can be easily fixed with steel from your tin top.

The SR20 being built up has the old footwells out of my tin top.

Keep the firewall as well, its a mecca of spares.

Could also be the fact that your opened diffed, when it hops which wheels are spinning??

I can't hear the mtr's like i could with the BFG's. Also they don't smoke up either.

I suppose the only way i'm gonna figure this out is through trial and error

Made new ones further in on the cross member. Also I think they are higher then the stock one. I also moved the handbrake bracket off the rear of the diff so that it didn't contact

Well worked on the zook the other day. I have put the two helpers back in the rear so now it is a stock OME medium spring. The rear is now working great, getting heaps more power to the ground. the front on the other hand is still pretty loose, but I can most probably deal with that.

Now for another problem. I have installed the front shoks vertical to the diff, not realising how far the front diff will move back. So the front shocks now have a bit of denting. oops. I still have to move the hangers back though, so this might help with the direction of movement. (bigsteve can you measure how far farward yours are?)

Just a question, how does the diff move backwards in a reverse shackle setup. Why I ask is because the front drive shaft is designed to extend forward on the slip yoke but not backwards. I'm thinking if I add a spacer then the diff shouldn't be able to go backwards as at tgis tage I have over an inch constantly extended. Any idea's?

front extention is complete just need to work out the bumpstops and shock mounts.

did u sleeve it on the inside? or just but welded it?

what do u melborne people do? plate it ?
has any one broke theirs?

Mines plated underneath witch also forms the plate that the spring perch is welded to. With a gusset at each end of the overhand back to the rail.

Every extension has been done differently though. None have brokem.
