has anyone done a 2inch lift and what struts and springs have they used .
Have you done your bodylift yet? The OME struts are the best round but you could go cheap and make up some strut spacers. The OME kit is OK for ride and handling but it certainly isn't the articulation king. You could give Allsprings in Sydney a call for some coils and maybe look at some Ranchos for the rear.
Have you had a chance to look at the compressor yet?

it only has to hold up approximatly 450kgs
This is more than likely a result of using a product outside it's intended use. Are you running limiting straps and bumpstops? Coils dont like to be stretched and banged together.
he used them under the rear of his coily id say the shocks would be the right length for his application and i think the first ones he got sagged alot
Be a little bit careful of the tough dog struts. We had a member that ran them in the front of their 2.0 GV and whilst they are longer than the OME struts (good) they are a bit too long compressed and after landing it after a little jump in the sand one strut blew through the mount.
I have never heard/seen this happen with OME.
Personally, I think that bumpstop lengths need to be checked with strut length whenever spacers/different struts are fitted.

Buy the OME fronts they're longer than almost anything else you'll find..... Even the 3" calmini lift uses shorter struts. The ride on them is really good... dunno about tough dog but form comments on their stuff elsewhere I'd expect way too had.
Dont buy the OME rears thoguh they're way too short for any decent travel.
As far as springs go that seems to be the bane of vitaras...getting the springs right. Ome are good though, and a coil spacer on top makes reasonable lift.
