GU Brake Lines

Post by Robbo »

Does anyone know if steel braided brake lines to replace all rubber one's are legal in vic and who stocks them. Have extended lines to cope with 5" lft but getting jack of spongy pedal and I think OE rubber units are the problem. All other possible causes have been checked. I know a few guys suffer same complaint using extended lines and 35" tyres etc.

As far as I know steel lines are not legal in Vic on public roads. You can buy the lines but in the event of an accicent or insurance claim they will negate any coverage.
