more pix, Joey has been shafted, and more
I was wrong about the front shaft length, it is the exact same shaft as the rear, therefore less spares needed etc. The shafts are custom, but use mostly hi lux bits. front shaft is missing because the diff yoke was dodgy and another is on order.
the custom rad filler, running off one of the feed pipes, is a better option than his original header tank option.

Is he actually going to wheel this thing?
Looks like there has been a lot of attention to detail, will he be too afraid to scratch it?
Coming along well, can't wait to see it in the flesh.

Boy I hope so, suspense is killing me
He led some great trips, before the rebuild, I believe he will run some more when done. He is planning a trip called "the 4 o'clock track" should be fun, as those who went on his trips will agree

More new pix, very exciting, as it is now being re-assembled for the final time. The engine bay is nearly complete, apart from mounting of power steer fluid reservoir, water bottle, air box and rad overflow bottle. These should be done by Monday. As pix show, the front clip and all body work is basically complete (no doubt there will be fiddley bits to be done, and more mods later) All the lights wiring is complete, but needs a new brakelight switch (probly busted during the modded brake pedal fitment)

yeshemesh
latest news, it goes, and will be driveable after modded steer column gets fitted, cool, cool, and very cool.
Check out the pile of leaves and stuff extricated from the heater
Power steering finished off with reservoir mounting.
Air box plumbed wired and mounted.
Optima?? battery mounted behind passenger seat.
Oil cooler for auto fitted and plumbed.
It purrs like a kitten at idle, roars like a black panther at full noise, christover and joey.

gerg is correct, the manual is much shorter, guy is also correct, it was a hybrid of silvia front and skyline rear I think?
I like sleepers too. christover[/quote]
how had he worked out the clutch as the skyline box is hydraulic and the Suzuki is cable, did he get the box from glen at datsall in lilydale

he did get it from a datsun/nissan bloke in Lilydale, so I think that would be him?
In the swb he fitted a hydraulic master under the dash and used the Nissan hydraulic clutch stuff.
In this LWB project, he is using entire auto from the silvia/200sx. christover

now done the big test drive, up road and back...sorry for poor quality pix , black cars at night don't photograph well....all went well, no probs, that is after reconnecting the gear linkage, oops
more interesting daylight ramp type pix will be coming soon I hope. track bar seems to work well under power (lots thereof:) exhaust note is sweet.
