compressor location - gu coil cab

Post by mr Z »

hi everybody ;D

i'm getting a compressor installed at the same time i get my snorkel fitted and the guys at arb recommended to put it under the passenger seat

just wondering what others have done in their gu's with snorkel, dual batteries etc is there still room und er the bonnet?

i guess if its in the cab its protected from the elements so it might be the go

any thoughts/ideas

cheers

Mines fitted behind the passenger side seat. If you're getting it to run diff locks, make sure the pressure blow off tubes are routed outside the cab or you'll get an oil smell in the cab every time you disengage the lockers.

It's kind of out of the way, is fun scaring the crap out of passengers but it does eat into the very limited storage space inside the cab.
I'm not very good looking, so I guess I better be useful . . .

lockers will go in one day, but for now just the compressor

are the blow tubes only in place if lockers are installed?

When you get the airlocker installed, a small solenoid operated valve will be screwed into the airtank on the compressor. The loom should have extra connectors for the switches and the solenoid/s
