Weird carnage by buddy

His name is Joe, but we call him Meaaaz (i.e. "the shepard" in arabic) as he is one harsh driver...

Dunno how it happened, and I have never seen this before, but as he says "It was a small climb I was in 2nd low and it was my 5th try - not flooring it...i swear"...a-ha...yeah right.

Any closeups? I have seen things like that where the crownwheel tried to spit a broken gear or cross shaft out of the case. Usually it is a single hole though, not a series of holes.

This is the only pic I have, so I cropped it up for ya...It seemed that the rear axle DID break and the housing fractures, tehreby getting the ring in the housing.

Looked more like an impact damage dino , Say rolling down a hill backwards and a big hit on a sand stone boulder -- as the imprint from the ring looked to be while the ring was stationary .
(Pic,s are down at present PHIL)
