SimplyPV wrote:  well if you look at purchase prices... the u.s. rocky goes for pretty cheap considering the fact that they are never modded because people dont know about them and dont think they are capable of anything, much less even heard of em.... BUT if you look at prices of parts.... thats where the costs of having a rocky vs a zook is completely offset... just to give you an idea..... here in the states, i paid $56 for ONE timing belt....a zook or chevy timing belt can go for as little as 15 bucks.... spark plug wires? $163........ dizzy cap? lets try around $65...... what else? oh yeah... driver side window.... $156........ pass. side rear window.... $200..... a parts truck that's been stripped down ALOT... $800.... which i over paid on.. but still got my $$'s worth out of it.... it all adds up.. THEN you gotta worry about being able to even FIND parts..... the stress alone of calling people and saying nope... sorry. dont even carry anything for that... it sucks man.. but looking roza makes it worthwhile every time... to see the shocked expressions on people's faces when they see that i pose a serious threat with a lil 1.6l inline 4 and something they've NEVER heard of.... alot of people here tend to think that roza's a lil zook wannabe.. but then they find out shes capable of keeping up with the rest of the pack... they swallow pretty hard.... love that look.

maybe if ya didn't keep blowing ur roza up, it wouldn't cost so much to fix dude :D u got that engine running properly yet?

zooks are heaps cheaper over here, sometimes half the price for a similar age!

go the small rigs  we ALL gotta stick it to the cruiser/patrol/hilux etc drivers  :D

I agree with you on the "bigger truck" issue.

Take it too the Cruisers and Partols and so on.

My Dad has an 80 Series, damn I say it, the bloody thing goes near anywhere, so if it can't get up, I shouldn't try, doesn't mean I don't wanna try and show it up though...

Stephen you are such a captain obvious.. If a feroza had solid axle you would be in serious sh*t.

80 series??? go back to yota land :D ahh well, not tooooooo much shame in being out-driven by a girl in a HUGE cruiser ;)

if the fez had a solid axle, it'd be a different car.. and the above arguements wouldn't stand... in which case i woulda stayed in my box :D

It also doesn't have a Feroza diff or gearbox anymore. There's isn't any "Feroza" left in the drivetrain.
