wanted MK/MQ door

Post by beast-tamer »

Does anyone have a Nissan patrol SWB drivers side door for sale. Would be good if i could get it in nissan red

And does anyone know if the doors are interchangable between the two models (MK/MQ)

Yes they are interchangeable.

Screwy,

do you mean GQ' doors would fit the MK's body?

how about baskets? would the GQ's top be the same with the MK's?

TIA

They have the same shell.
Bonnets, Guards, Doors etc. will all bolt on with little drama.
If useing the guards they will look silly unless you use the GQ front grill as well ( the front idicators on GQ's are in the corners rather than on the side ).
Roof is similar in width though MQs have a canopy and GQ's dont so no GQ cage will fit unless its 2 bars across the front of the ute part on the MQ SWB.
I also beleive GQ's have a slightly longer wheel base as well so full length cages arnt going to work either.....

this is great news for me..thanks for the feedback. Luckily, we have more GQ high roof here in the philippines than the MK's and I seldom see MQ's. I don't think i'll have problems looking for doors when I have my rig body repaired.

Thanks,

kamote
