1990 Hilux has G 52 gearbox
5 th line down on manafactures plate will read trans/axle G52 G142
The G142 denotes a 4.875 ratio diff with a 8" crown wheel
and I think you are sweet to

You trying to get fresh Adrian?
Im not that sort of bloke!!
But thanks for the info!!!
Is the transfer case gear or chain?
On the fire wall it says mine is a G52 and G143,
dose this just mean its a G142 with LSD?

G142 2 spider open center
G143 2 spider LSD
G144 4 spider open center
G145 4 spider LSD
1990 dual cab should have a gear drive transfer case
I thought SASS stood for Sweet And Sexy Sort
