I think there's a short cable that connects the CD to the radio. What connections has the CD player got on the back?

THe cd player had one connection which plugged straight behind the tape headunit no probs..

Has power input which i have removed the clock wire which had similiar plugs and put it in there

CD wil only eject anything that is put in there when i push the eject button. - ejects electronically... no probs

BUT wont run or light up..

Thinkin the head unit...

When you try to put a CD in, does the radio cut-out? Is the original radio the earlier Clarion unit or the later unit. Usually from the main unit, there will be +ve and negative supply, CD audio output and another wire to switch off the main unit when the CD player is running.
