Yet another 2H 12HT question...

Post by carts »

Does anyone know if you can run a 12ht fuel pump on a 2h? just wondering for the boost compensation components in the 12ht pump on aftermarket turbo on a 2h.

Does a 12ht still use an EDIC motor controller like the 2h?

All i know is that the 2 motors run completely different injections, injecters and compressions, i know the mechanical fuel advance is different, so will be the injection rates. Getting either or both pumps worked on will be the biggest cost.
Have u considered a wreck from pickles.com?? Probably pick a late 60 up for 2k with 12ht

I dont really want to go to a huge expense....

I saw the pump on ebay and thought "i wonder if I can use it?"

I have an aftermarket turbo and thought that perhaps I could get boost compensation for over/underfuelling at a relatively cheap price..

There is nothing really wrong with the current setup, so I cant justify 2-3k, however, 250-350 bucks i could see a point.... if ya get my drift.

Thanks for your help.
