Post by pato castro »

that's an 4 door, automatic (TH400), Whipple supercharged 502 Patrol (and 2 other less important 4x4's) testing on some dunes here in Chile.
Enjoy!

15mb warning for dialers! ;)

That looks like it would be so fun! That patrol just blows the others away! Obviously has major power.

Sound track suits that stuff perfectly. Good one.

Ya think? I realy couldnt tell. It didnt look to have any more power than the Jeep or the Chevy that was with it.

If its going to take so long for others to download i wouldnt bother its 3 rigs(GQ,CJ and a Chevy pickup) all blasting up sand dunes and it finished with a quick engine bay shot of an Airconditioning compressor that looks like it was converted to Onboard Air.

It defianatly doesnt look like a super huge HP GQ.

You better believe it's more powerful than both of those; the Jeep was a stock 2.5 engine and the chevy is a stock 4.3 V6, both of them tackle the dunes at more speed than the Patrol, the Patrol floored when it's almost at the base of the dune. Anyways it's exhaust is in need of better development, Iron exhaust manifolds an a 3" single outlet exhaust isn't enough for a supercharged 8.2 V8.
