chopping bumpstops on ifs lux - how low can you go?

Post by gurumon »

gunna take the plunge and chop the bump stops on my ifs lux (make the best of a bad situation)

how low have people gone? i'm assuming the bump stops are that big for a reason? so whats the impact of chopping them?

and before the inevitable "just SAS it" comments - too expensive for me at the moment... maybe when i win lotto.

You can cut most of the lower bump stop away or fit low profile poly which is what I did.
But cut the upper bump stops at your own risk. You want them to cushion impact if you launch it
