Ok a US dude off Trail Talk is moving to Sydney in a few months and wants to buy a swb Gen 2 Paj (3.5 V6 or 2.8TDI).
He wants to get the front IFS converted to a long travel custom set up like the desert racers use and possibly do a IRS long travel set up as well.
This would involve custom A arms, CV's, twin shocks, hydraulic bumpstops and steering components. Unfortunately the Ralliart bits used for the Paris-Dakar vehicles are not available to the public.
Which custom 4x4 shops around the Sydney area would tackle a job like this ??
I thought of ORI (who are very familiar with Paj's) and possibly M&M Custom Engineering.
Anyone else ?? He is looking to make contact first and discuss his project before he moves here.
I'll give him the link to this thread so he can respond.
Frank.
