after seeing the camo cut off vit in another thread i thaught there must be more of them out there and it must look pritty cool. so lets see any pics you have and inspire the vit owners here to go extreme.

If I knew how to put pics up atm i would but until then no can do...Helphelphelppls,sorry but would like to know how many vit cab chassis there are out there....

Cheers steve, have tried to send some pics to chris but the computer is going through the terrible two's and wont play ball. Hopefully he gets them today.... Hey james thoght ya would only rate it one bling cos i did'nt paint the chassis.. Benny was round last night giving me flack about that and not moving the spring mounts back.......

I think you should start a poll:

If you want to move the rear diff further back to extend the wheelbase, would you?

a) extend the trailing arms and a arm and not be too concerned that you didn't move the spring mounts accordingly

or

b) extend the trailing arms, a arm, driveshaft, move the spring mounts and shock mounts back with diff AND DO THE JOB PROPERLEY.

Yeah yeah ok ... Will do that when i decide on what to do with the back end setup but for the moment dodgy rules!!!! and its only a lil bit (if i am facing uphill they will be straight!!!!!!!!!! :splat:

or do the job all the way with sas, transfer moved back, chasis extended, and equal driveshafts and mabey 80 axels just for good mesure

Main specs;
1.6 efi, front air locker, rear mini spool
warn 8000 high mount, 33 13.5 bias claws atm, 2" bodylift, 2" suspension
Still got to do stays on the roll bar but cant decide on how or where
they will go and mount the fuel filler properly also still a lil cutting to do

Just a property 5 mins from home that we have been going to bashin cars for over 10 years, too many people are dumping there now so gotta be a lil weary, didn't want to just take shots of it sitting in my drive!!!

Couple of mates and i did , mostly at home with arc where i could (on braceing and back wall) had to go down and enlist a mate with a mig to do the welding to body panels (mates rock)
but i piloted the mig a bit there too. Still got to tidy the passengers side panel up. And am seam sealing and body deadening tonight. So not fin yet....

so it started as a soft top then? and if you want some help with where to put the rolbar stays then give us a bell and i'll knock up a couple of 3d models for ya

Cheers matt looks ya can do some tricky shyte but am not too fussed
cosmeticly.. need them to be strong and do the job they are intended
for but i also still need to be able to carry storage boxes... If i put them
where i want to i wont be able to open the box on the back so may have to look for different storage options....

And yes it is a soft top, the back window is pvc fabric that can still be removed moded the old top to go back on until i get round to making a new one( the sun taned white just aint right)... :crazyeyes:

okies so i'm an inventer by nature and this just made sence it takes into acount the tray mounting points and even with the spare mounted in the stays there is room for a swag and esky.
