Tacho problems

Post by Mudrat »

G'day everyone, just a small probably dumb question, but does anyone know what colour the wire etc is for the tacho in the engine bay on a 1985 4 door rangie. and does this wire plug into the coil or alternator. The manual that came with it doesn't show any wire's etc for a tacho. The previous owner did engine swap and a few things haven't been connected back up yet.

Cheers ;)

Brown/yellow or yellow/brown seems right, but could remember it wrong.

Connects to alt.
