Fibreglass bodies for Disco/Rangie

Post by up2nogood »

Does anyone know if anyone makes a good f'glass body kit for these cars in Aus? I saw the Kiwi one, but it doesn't look like you can remain dry in extreme weather.
I was tring to find something on Bushranger conversions, but google would not provide.................

No fibreglass here or I think I'd have a bit of it. The only glass bit you can get is the bonnet for the exposed hinges version of the RR.

I think the Bush Rangie conversion has gone the way of John Davis Motorworks (the manufacturer)........and snuffed it.

John Davis (mobile 0414 445 635) still builds the bush ranger (but the business John Davis Motorworks is no more since John and Bruce went separate ways).

Rovacraft in WA (08) 9377 0080) imports the dakar 4x4 kit that the bush ranger was based on.

Dave (bushy555 on this board) has a web site for bush rangers http://www.bushy.lookscool.com/

That link is to Barry's site. Steve Bennett has taken over construction from Barry (not sure on details) see http://www.dakar4x4.me.uk/
