3.0 & 3.5 engine modifications
Apart from a blower, what else is available in performance parts for the 3.5L V6 & 3.0L V6? Im particularly interested in 3.5L mods but this way there may be something for everybody..

Its hard to find info ..taken me months....To date fitted a remapped chip, Extractors, 2.5inch freeflow exhaust and Lukey muffler, K&N filter, enlarged throttle body. Results to date are pretty impressive. Just odered a supercharger 8psi, water injection and will mate this up with a Haltech engine management unit, hi perf Ignition set and leads, grounding unit and lager 340 cc injectors. Heads being machined/ported/polished and cams profiled to suit the blower setup . All assembled an its off to the dyno for a day of serious tuning... Will keep you posted...should be all done in the next 6 weeks. Expect 250kw and bucket of torque. My only hope is that the Auto can handle it all (I dont go off road at all)
Keep us posted on the blower progress dude
With my 3.0 V6 I added extractors, 2.25" exhaust with high flow cat & muffler, snorkel, finer filter, magnecor leads and had it dyno tuned.
It goes heaps better than before power went from 76Kw to 93Kw at the wheels so I'm happy with that but would like more (don't we all)

Hey quickpaj,
what sort of supercharger have you got, Centrifugal?? or the other type.
when I had my quad cam I looked into this, but in the end couldnt get any one in Canberra to take it on. too hard they reckoned. plus the fact thta I was running duel fuel didnt help!.

Hey quickpaj,
Sounds like your going to have a nice strong Pajero soon.
If you machine the head, your going to increase the comp ratio. The 3.5 already has fairly high compression and by giving it even more your going to ping its head off when the blower is fitted. Ideally you would want to fit different pistons to decrease the comp ratio, but for an easy way you could simply use a decompression plate. This way you can increase the boost and not worry about pinging.
Even with aftermarket ECU, its going to be hard without using water injection or 'race' fuel. Of which you are already using one of those methods...
Cant wait to see the results
