yea the jump from 33's to 35's has always been BIG..
I was just quoted $310 for MTR's from another place. Mentioned $265 elsewhere he said oh ok, I'll match it...

Even after the "Sheidow" incident Sam? I was expecting them to perform a bit better than they did- maybe I was expecting too much from a mud tyre (not having ever had any myself)?
They do work really well, remember the first creek crossing where you were slipping and sliding and dave had to pull you out. You hadn't bottomed out but just ran out of traction. My muddies had plenty of grip there.
As for when i got bogged, When you get any 4wd buried above one of the axles, the wait will sit on the axle and not on the tyre. No tyre will get you out of that. Hence the need for the winch.
"Sheidow" incident
My cruiser got stuck in a very soft mud bowl on the exit of a creek. To the point where three quarters of my front right tyre was below the mud, ( hence axle stuck in mud too.) Nothing to winch from infront except a huge bolder about 40m up a hill. Instead of winching me out of the hole, i managed to winch the bolder out of the hill. Ended up having to winch me out on a 45 degree angle and while the winch pulled me sideways and out of the mud, two of my tyres hit big rocks hidden under the mud and one was punctured and the other the bead was broken and the tyre was ripped clean off the rim and almost turned inside out.
I had to borrow a spare 31 from a mate to get me home, the rest of my tyres are 33s.
The real tragic thing is that I have two spares but someone convinced me i wouldn't need two on that day.
One of the tyres had a whole punctured through the sidewall. The stupid thing is that i cost less to get the puncture cut out and a new piece molded into the sidewall than it did to put a patch and a tube in the other.

I had to go a lot slower through there due to clearance problems with stock suspension, two open diffs and near stock sized A/T's. Your tyres are a lot bigger mud tyres (33"?) plus you've got lifted suspension and a front locker..... So you should get a lot more places than me!! (and remember we're comparing a Feroza to a Landcruiser here.)
Before you got bogged I would have thought you would have been able to climb out again- like Dave did in his stock Feroza (with highway tyres) after a couple of goes? You seemed to get got bogged to the axles after sliding back in and lots of spinning trying to get out again and not going anywhere.
The STT's weren't clearing at all either?
Just my observations- I thought you should have got through easier?
