4.88 Dana 60 gears

Anyone know where I can get a 4.88:1 D60 R&P cheap (low pinion rear), preferebly in Bris?

Maybe try superformance?
Or F-trucks Oz?

Thanks for the info BJ,

superformance don't do them but F-Trucks do: $640 for R&P.

Is this price reasonable? I know hilux R&P's are about 400-500 new but these are a lot bigger.

Any other places?

UUUUMMMMMM If sam (strangerover) gets on he normally knows where the big stuff is cheap! Maybe he has mates at those places? AHHH is it to fit in your rover? :?: Isn't the centre section a dana 60 with 24 spline side gears?

Yeah and Yeah. The LR Salisbury is the same as a Dana 60 (only narrower than most) and runs smaller (24 spline) axles. Since mine is already a 4.7, a 4.88 D60 R&P should bolt straight in.
