G'day,
I know there's numerous posts on this site about offset, bloody heaps of them, but i'm yet to find the what a Landcruise offset is sorry.
I've been told i'd need Landcruiser offset rims for my Mav to fit 33's. The local tyre guy has told me CSA steel rims with a Patrol offset are -24, and i've read here that most Patrol offsets are -25, which is the same as a 75 series Landcruiser.
So my question is, what actually is the Landcruiser offset, as the tyre guy doesnt want to know about ordering another set of rims?
Thanks.

Landcruiser Offset

Landcruiser Offset = Zero
Example: 80 Series
Steel 16x8 is 4.25" Backspace
Alloy 16x8 is 4.5" Backspace
Landcruiser Backspace = 3.5"
So the back of the Rim does'nt touch the Drag Link Tie Rod Ends. - Like on a 40.
