2 Questions for the 100 series

Post by Wave_nut »

At present I have a six seater base model 100 series. What I want to do is some how aquire a passenger seat so that I may install a large center console. Where can I find a seat?

The other question is this.. If I was to do a 2" suspension lift would I need a caster correction kit/bushes?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

seats depend on how much you want to spend and what kind of seat you want. all 4WD shops sell a range of seats, or you can fit up seats from another car or 4WD.

I assume you have a 105 series, as a 100 series has IFS and lifting the suspension does not effect the castor. for a 2" lift you should not require castor correction, will only be a problem with 3 - 4" and higher lifts.

cheers

My cruiser is live axel

As far as the seats go... the stock seat or closest to would be ideal.

So for the lift all I'll need is the four coils and four shocks then?

P.S. Thanks mate

Why not leave the seat there and make a consul with the arm rest as a lid. also holdes two raidos and has two drink holders. Lot cheaper than buying a seatworks well for me. I have some pictures of mine. If you want some pictures E-mail me at dslcruiser@hotmail.com.
