Body and Petrol Tank Lift

Post by Croz »

I am still tossing up whether or not to do a bodylift (40mm - 50mm) on the Feroza... My main interest in doing one is to get greater clearance on the sills and fit sliders without losing height.

Anyone that has done one... how tippy does it make the car?

Also, has anyone looked into lifting the fuel tank above the rear chassis where it is mounted? In stock location it is mounted to the underside of the tube, but if the body was lifted I might be able to get it on top of the chassis... gaining a couple of inches... something my custom 50 lt (was 60) tank might benefit from...

Fuel tank lift sounds like a good idea. You might even be able to make up some sort of protective plate for it......something like the one over your transfer case.

I was thinking about that but its a bit harder to really protect. I would like to just get it up and out of the way a bit more.

The mounts for it are not as simple as the ones for the transfer case plate.
