Hi Guys,
just wondering if anyone else has ongoing trouble with the starter motor getting clogged when going through bog holes? Mine continually does not want to start after a couple of them, have to go get it cleaned out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Get used to it. 
I was rebuilding mine every 2-3 months before I had the motor rebuilt. The mechanic put in a new one at that time saying mine was cactus - still think I could have got at least another year out of it. So far the new one has not needed attention - but only a matter of time.
Mate with a Paj was also having the same probs. Every couple of months the small gear began to stick or not throw and required a clean.
There is a small breather hose at one end that allows water to escape if it ever gets in but this blocks very easily with mud. Make sure it is clear.

Yep, what he said. With a bit of prctice you can have it out, cleaned and back in in a bit over an hour.
Oh, and you'll get practice, I assure you ...

I've had the same trouble for years with all of mine. It wasn't a big wory with the V5MT1, but now that I have an auto, I am quite paranoid about it. So much so that when we got back to camp this summer after all day slogging through the goo, I pulled and cleaned it for good measure.... glad I did too. It was nasty.
