Apparently Mr Packer pulled some strings with the ABC and had C31 NSWs broadcasting licence handed over to some org that couldn't make it work.
Otherwise we would be there.
We are trying other avenues but it is all time and money.

As I said Mudtoy , I will have another look . because I love seen people give it a go.

I have also heared in the traps , that there were some upset people who put alot of money towards a propossed competition truck , yet no truck has been seen so far . Are these acusations false or true ?

I think its best to just ask when you can talk to the sourse . Than be like everyone else and continue a roumor that may not hold water .

Hey that's a new one! There was no truck, no money and no plans. Every sponsor is still involved and seven of the original ten have bought in again for the upcoming series. In fact the show is only going ahead thanks to the support and input of the sponsors.
Please tell me more of this rumour.
I believe you will find that it is a 4wd magazine that had this problem.

Check the website, they are all listed...obviously the same as the other series except now we have more. But for starters you can call...

Colin Pond, Brawn 4x4, 9798 8522.

Andrew Worthington, State Tyres, 9798 5917

John Cullen, Time Plus Communications, 9380 4172

Brendan Hughes, Narva, 9730 6000

Joe Laban, 4Play Off road, 9761 4694

Geez you are a suspicious one!

And as for the earlier couch scenes (don't worry it is well gone)...we had no capital, no experience, no help and certainly no studio. How about you lend us a hand for this series. Each show only requires 50 hours of location work, set up and filming, 20 hours of reviewing, timecoding and selecting footage and 30 hours of cutting and editting. Don't forget, planning, idea creation, storyboarding, scripting, voiceovers, ...oops forgot website authoring, design and maintenance, acquisition of sponsors (sourcing, paperwork, chasing, closing), liasining with clubs, associations and other bodies, promotions and advertising, answering emails, negotiating with C31 Vic and interstate...even designing the business cards is a strain. No wonder I'm in the office till after midnight each night.

So which bit would you like to help with...and not just filming the events like everyone else.

Thank crikey I have a supportive wife and I enjoy doing it!

Sorry no more partners, the 53 cents profit is wearing a little thin at the moment. We do have a great network of volunteers though with quite a few of them active on the forums...thanks guys.
We had 5 cameras at the recent Ateco and 4 at the Alpine Challenge...even bigger thanks to the guys who drove six hours to get there.
Thanks for the offer with the equipment (seriously) but our top dollar editor (actually our biggest expense on top of the air time) has got the full kit.
Can you film?
How about we do a story on you and your truck...we have a weekly segment for the every day driver.

They were 4x4 TV cards.
They looked Snazzy.

I'd love to get behind 4x4 TV for getting it to NSW. I'd love to work with you if it came to NSW (don't think you have a job for a 17 year old though). Mabey i should make a donation with the little money i have (think like 50 bucks).

Oh well, good luck anyway :D :D

Hey Tonka, what printers were you at as we will send them one of our legal letters. I still own half of 4x4 TV and we aren't giving anyone permission to use that name. On the other hand if you saw one of the new cards for 4wd TV then that is cool. Because that is our show...it has sponsors, air time, industry and events support and a top team of contributors, volunteers and consultants....oh, and we have free stuff for you to try and get.

Yes...we are well established here in Vic and thanks to sponsors from QLD and Briz 31 we have made it into QLD. WA is next as we have one interested party ready to go but we need some more contacts over there. So please go to your local suppliers and tell them that if they want it we will come...

Searsy 989 and Zukin4life, thanks for the support. Hang in there and don't forget that the DVDs will be available until C31 NSW gets sorted.
There was another show kicking around 31 called the 4wd show but it was very low key off roading and mainly flat dirt driving to music. Our show is a little different...as in action wise. Imagine a 4wd motorsport show the way you would want it and that's what we are. For example, apart from the basic education and safety information, episode 1 has 3 minutes of trip report from a local Vic forest (some good hill climbs, etc), 7 minutes of highlights from the recent Ateco winch challenge, a real segment on snatching and an interview with Nick Mannell including some hot shots from him in the Outback Challenge.

How does that sound?

4wd TV now has two spotlight kits up for grabs. All you have to do is send in an email.
Check out the "Free Stuff' page @ www.4wdtv.com.au
and Don't forget to be watching in October.
