ENGINE SWAP FOR VITARA

I have a 91 viti with the 1.6l carby eng that i want to replace with something else. I am thinking of some kind of 2L can anyone tell if thay have done this and what type of eng will fit without having to radiator in the back!!!!
PS i know the 2L v6 is hard to find.

PPS: I also have a supercharger of a 4agze in my shed that i might chuck on if i cant find a 2L that will fit!

if i were u i would find the rest of the 4agze motor and throw that in

No go on the rest of the 4agze only have the blower this why it would be a last resort. There must be some one that put a 2L in vitara?

SR20 into vitara

Can some one tell me of a good g/box to fit to the back of a nissan sr20 that i have to put in my 91 vitara!

couldn't you run the standard nissan box and just put a divorced sierra transfercase behind it?
