RUF and Disco Springs in rear of a Rangie
I read a thread on Pirate (I think) about replacing the Rangie rears with stock Disco rears and moving the rears up front. Apparently gives a very soft 2 inch lift.
I'm going to give it a go on my POS, but thought I'd check if anyone has done this before and can give info.

Correct landy_man... Actually they are very soft, sagged RR heavy duty OME rears that are going up front, and fairly fresh stock Discos in the rear. I'll keep you posted

Just make sure they are not too stiff - like king springs - when you have springs that are too stiff the car won't articluate and will sit up all the time - drive under itself and put its nose in the air.
I had that occuring in my 2 door - luckly for me I don't have a the need to change from the standard springs in my 4 door as they are just right for articluation - I just put spacers at the top of them to pick up a bit of height .

Tom, out of interest, where did you get the spacers from, or did you make them yourself? I ask mainly because I'm worried with this setup that one end will sit higher than the other, and am considering using spacers to even things up.

Yep - that can happen - Racin' Rangie umm I got them through a mate - I will find out if the plastics company and see if they still make them - they cost about $45 each from memory for a 2" polye spacer (this is all from memory so don't quote me)
I will ask my mate tomorrow and let you know I think we should still be able to get them - I need a pair for the front so my rangie sits up level.
You could work out the size you need for the front and get them made up so she sits just right - that would probably be the go
