Heres the pictures of my front bearings and stuff. It has got mud all in it and the wheel bearings were loose. Heres what was found.
Big salute to brother and father who took it all apart for me as i have no idea how to. Hey - we all have to learn someday don't we?

Whats up!!
thats what mine was like after playing in the mud for months,
when i pulled the front axles down to redo all the seals, the grease round the cvs ran out of the hubs, it was just mud and water, the king pin bearings were both rusted solid and there was vegitable matter in the wheel bearings.
havent been near the mud since
nasty nasty stuff
gib me rocks any day

haha... I have heard this from many people
and since I am changing my seals / bearings / brakes.. I dont think I will go and 'play' in the mud..
I will drive through it, only if I have to tho!
I gotta admit tho, taking my brother in laws 4b through the mud rocks - there is like, a temptation to just go through it at full noise and see the mud fly off his MTR's..

Robbie,
Yeah all of it gets filled with cra*. One of the best ways to stop water and mud getting into your diffs is to extend the diff breathers back up into the engine bay (that is what i have done) as they are only like a foot above the diff when stock.
This is like the most basic and cheapest mod you can do and it will save your diffs from undue wear and your oils from contamination
When you dunk your bus into the mud/water it quenches all the diffs. Which means that is sucks in what ever is in/near the diff breather (if in water or mud then that all gets sucked in). this also means that it sucks all the mud and stuff around your wheel bearings which as u know is bad.
Anyway i dont think you can put a price on doing 4x4 donuts in the mud!!!
Regards,
Nick

I read something along those lines in the 4x4 monthly 2 issues ago I think..
whats so good about 4b doughies like in the mud? never seen it
It is the most ammount of fun I have had with my pants on!!
Awesome stuff 4x4 mud doughies.
The best part is going through town and pulling up next to some polished up disco/rangie/100series/patrol/ML-50/ect.ect and getting strange look! The only look i give them is something like this...
Try it and you will be hooked!!!
