As far as Glen and I are aware the dates are NOT changing.

The weekend is set for the 2nd and 3rd October 2004.

As promoter of the ASCC in Townsville I would officially like to advise all that due to a conflicting date with another major event in Townsville (2-3 October), round 3 of the ASCC has been moved to 9th and 10th of October.

Unlike LMP, there is a considerable cost to hold this event in Townsville like Insurance, Council permits, advertising, water trucks etc. To hold the event on the same weekend as another major event (eg. round 2) is just not feasable. The competition in Townsville rely's heavily on spectators.

Glen is aware of this and I apologise if this effects arrangements that any out of town people may have made.

Interesting, just that its Bathurst Weekend. I wonder how many fans will decide to turn up????

Shame to see that my navi and other people have already booked non refundable flights.

Oh well, who is up for a camping trip on the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd as i have people coming up that cant change flights cause they are already booked????
