Last time i attempted one i stalled the roza and it wouldnt start again. had to get it back down to level ground and then it kicked over fine......dont know what happened there.

Anyway, how is it supposed to be done properly?

If I remember correctly, you...

1. Stall vehicle, hold with foot brake. Leave in gear. Don't use clutch

2. If going downhill, simply hit starter motor and take foot off brake at the same time to drive away.

3. If going uphill, apply handbrake after step 1. Change from 1st to reverse and release clutch. Release handbrake, hit starter motor and take foot off brake at the same time to drive away.

Sounds about right :?

The foot on the brake is to stop the "learch" when it start so you don't brake traction.
