extended shackles

iam wanting to get extended shackles in my luxs i allready have a 2inch lift and just want to no what another mods i need to do like longer brake lines,shock and steering mods any help would be great cheers gavin

apart from longer break lines is the cross over steering conversion...which is the way to go or if $$$ are tight have to get dropped drag link. the other thing uve got to worry about is wether your front drive shaft is longer enough..thats if ext. shakles are on the front.

hey bud u said that u had alocker fitted by mica at superior?? he does the x over steering well...and yes unless u have really goodskills in cuting and plating chassis rails leave it to the experts..ull pay any where from btween 1200 and 1500 bucks for this conversion or the dropped link is around 330 bucks...superior, snake, ori make them

just a quick pointer, i'm not sure if you know,but extended shackels are totally 100% Illegal in qld.

yes i do no this but i dont realy care :D no i have email mick and he has not replied so when i get some time i will have to ring him. the cross over sound good have seen it before but dollars are a bit short geting married next year :roll:.
does the extended shuckles give you any more flex or should i just save some more and get a spring lift

depends on the length og ur spring pack....most standered ones will give u the same flex and about an inch more lift.....thats why people are going for the ifs rear for the fronat and rear of solid axle models hiluxs..i run mics shackles all round and get good flex but want to put drops on the back...just savin the dosh.

I have extended my fronts by 2 1/2" and had to exted the drive shaft by 40mm. I extended the brake lines by 4" but they still stretch and of course you will need to extend your shocks, I extended mine 4" to stop the tyres grabbing the guards.

was that on 2inch spring or standed springs.
that is y iam extended my shackles to try and stop my 33 jungle trekers from eating my guards as well and the 4" you talk about is that the shocks you are talking about
