31" retread cheap tyres

Post by robbie »

hey dudes

I need to buy a set of 4 31" retread muds that will have to last about 2 months..

In this 2 months, I will be using them on the road and a bit on the beaten track

I am doing this as I dont want to waste money on a good set of 31" tyres, and then change to 35" in a few months.. (as I am raising the bundy and getting larger tyres then - and the current tyres wont last)

Are the retreads OK for my purpose? or should I drive around on near slicks on the front, and just passable RWC rear tyres..

my cuz had a 31 retread blow and get shredded last week. they were on a swb pajero which is probably similar in weight to your bundy.

i would get 2 replacement rear tyres (bfg mud or clone) for rwc then wait to go 35s. post in wanted to see if any cheapies are available.

damn, that would have hurt :P

its not really for rwc, its so I dont skate all over the road if it gets wet (and apparantly we will be getting some rain real soon when el ninio effect is over - who knows)

by the way - get back to work!@
