Well Im fixing my air locker tonight (nothing like last minute repairs :) ).
Hopefully I will make it!

Dont know where we should camp.
They are charging $50 for a site 6x9m and there is no showers or anything just use of the portaloos :?
I was wondering about maybe camping bush somewhere near by or isnt there a caravan park fairly close somewhere?

Paul,
Last year we had showers!! If I'm paying $50 I'm going to use those showers.
Are you sure we can't use the showers?
Last year we camped on the right hand side as you first drive in,on a nice little peice of grass, right next to the showers and tiolets.
Nice and shadey too. Three days without any shade is crap!! If youve got kids with you it's going to be that little bit harder to.

I will be there on Sunday most probably, maybe saturday arvo.

Sat will be pretty boring as it is just scrutineering and ramp. Will probably be a cluster like last year for the first hour or two so will probably be running late.

Drew has been working like a trojan the last couple of days. He has cause some carnage over the last few weeks that he has to fix.

He destroyed his rh3, rear shock mounts and busted fuel tank. He is in the process of fitting 4.1 diff ratios, 1lt transcase new fuel tank and shock mount.

He has just put in a roll cage and needs a snorkle aswell. Many late nights.

He has rear locker in and hopefully front by tomorrow 11.00am. Will be a late night and early morning I think.

With the power of the 4agze and the little bit of reduction I rekon it might actually runn better than with the rock hoppers in low range as he will have longer rev ranges to play with and he can still turn the wheels easily.

Will have to see.

Hey dewse were you down Wanneroo way the other day.

Well That was an awsome fun way to spend a weekend!
But boy was I glad to get home and have a shower.
I was looking like a black man :)
Total list of my carnage-
Sheared the 2 front fuel tank mount bolts (holding together with fence wire.
Rear fuel tank mount pushed back and tore a lovely big gash through my rancho 9000.
And 1 front rim had a bend in it.
But I wanna go do it all again!
There was some NICE 4bys there this year! made my little IFS lux look so small that I had to go park by the zooks to look big :)

That was great guy's and well done to Matt W (gold jeep) for placing second.

I don't think I was wolverine, I don't really know my perth suburbs. Sorry I didn't get to see you on sunday, maybe next time.

Ausyota, at least you were a crowd pleaser, not like some of those "big" rigs.

I didn't go last year, but it was still pretty boring! I spent most of saturday and sunday in the pit area just chatting to ppl.

Hanging off cliff's hey! Ever seen "double the fist" on ABC, if so...no fist mate! Take the ropes away now that's extreme.

forgot the camera on sunday  got a few pics saturday though, zac had my camera most of saturday and he is in love with tripods zook so there are plenty of him, matt will have to pull his finger out and come and pick up the photos so he can spent his work time posting them.

Wasnt a bad day but could be so much better if it was hosted some where that wasnt all sand, but at least someone is trying to orginise comps. Would probley only go up for 1 day next year, but only with a bunch of others so u could split the $35 entry fee :)
