Interesting Daihatsu week! :)

Post by Ferwoaza »

Found out yesterday a new guy at work is the same dude that built and owned the Feroza with the SR20 engine and ran 10.24seconds for the quarter with it!

Makes chats at work much more interesting now hehe. He doesn't own it anymore, got rid of it to build up another car (honda).

Also, driving home today from browns plains I ended up following a Rocky with a difference...if you call toyota axles, spring over, on 33's different! It was a toss up if that was what was awesome about it, or the fact the entire back, and the trailer he was towing was chockers with beer   Lives out my way somewhere..

And finally, was having a chat with a friend the other day regarding the $1200 of repairs I found out my steering requires (look after your components kiddies...don't let those wobbles go unheeded!!) and a solid axle swap may be on the cards for the Ferwoaza...determining costs tomorrow...

I know the guy you mean, I had a chat to him out at Willowbank this time last year. I think his Feroza was up for sale then.

It was the first time I had seen it in action - what a machine.

Yes, I'm still here lurking in the shadows ....

Back home there are a few SR20DET powered Daihatsu Rockys.
But what i'll say is the bomb are Rockys that are powered by 7M GTE and 1JZ and 2JZ which i've seen lurking around.
Sigh i need more power, my 3Y sucks....
Hmm any opinions what do u guys think of a 4.0litre Rover V8 in a Rocky?
Currently dreaming of doing that 1 day.
My RIG sucks big time.

You know you want to Murray!!

I know the feeling with the suspension parts... I just went through the same thing. If you dont end up doing the SAS get prices on parts and shipping from Daicare, I found them really cheap on steering components.
