I would like to say that Im going to be there but my buildup is taking so much more time than i thought. There is still a chance that i can make it happen (as long as I havent fawked anything up and it will all fit together in one go).

I was really pissed off at David Metcalfe when I heard that the guy that did the video for round 0 has been dropped (after he put in so much time and effort into the filming and video production of round 0 as well as the grunt work that he did in helping tjpete and myself set the courses) that I thought bugger it, Im not going to bust my arse to support a competition that doesent support the people that busted their arses to make it all happen in the first place.

But I am past that now and am genuinely going to do my best to be there for round 1 XRCC.

HEY GUYS...

NEWS UPDATE

i am going to enter, but I just need some 38.5" tyres!
Fourbys? any tyre company?
i only need them for the weekend, and preferably on steel rims, or beadlocks, even if they are fully thrashed, just need, like 50% or more tread

Here is a picture, I have heaps of clearance over a set of 38s, as i normally run 42s, or if none of the modified guys mind  i might just run some 42s :D yeah? no? but yeah

I came third in round Zero, and am looking to go better again, so hopefully you can lend me your tyres! If anybody reads this!

otherwise i might try and ring fourbys up, as they are the official event sponsor. :P

Rob you can use mine(conditions apply)

But the rules are not the same for Modified this time around unless Dave Metcalfe has changed them again.

This is a C&P from the current rules posted on the XRCC site.

5 D STEERING, SUSPENSION, WHEELS AND TYRES (MT only)

D 1 No rear wheel steer. (OEM accepted)
D 2 No hydraulic steering. (OEM accepted)
D 3 Powered or manually operated active suspension that can adjust each wheel or body attitude will not be allowed.
D 4 Tyre and wheel combinations are restricted to a measured 37.25” diameter (these measurements are vertical measurements with tyre pressure at 20psi).
