Noise in rear end, Bj42, need advise

Noise in rear end, Bj42, need advise
Noticed a sort of rattle in rear end. Put rear up on jacks ran truck in second gear and noise seem to occur after accelerating just off idle. Checked and replaced oil in diff. While truck on ground checked whether there was play in driveshaft seem to turn 10 or so degrees backwards and forwards before engaging diff, if that makes sence. There seems to be more play than the front shaft, not sure if this is normal. Please note I am not a mechanic but will try anything with instruction. No diff locker fitted, standard diff I think.

Maybe take that turbo out and see if that fixes...
If the rear tailshaft is wobblier than the front it may be worth looking at , uni joints may have chewed out and they rattle like hell sometimes, used to happen loads from beach driving.
Rear should be tight as, apparetnly is usual for front to wiggle a bit.
Have you been through any mud lately
I try and regrease all my nipples asap if you forget they can catch up on you pretty quick
Also pull your drums off cause they may be full of contaminant.

Dosen't seem to be there all the time, Only seem to notice it when just changed gears but only when driving slow, cant here it at higher speeds but thats not to say it's not there, just to much other loud noises masking it.

dosen't seem to have play in the uni's but is a lot of play where the pinion thingy goes into the diff. will check brake drums tommorow.
