as im havin trouble locating sum bits like an airflow meter for my gti motor, is it possible to run 1 of a different engine? i will be running an aftermarket ecu, if i could find 1 that was similar, would this work???
Don't know how much your AFM will be but consider replacing it with
a megasquirt ecu and map sensor - this mightn't be suitable but dollar for dollar it may work out cheaper - range rover AFM can be anywhere up to $400
As already suggested, get rid of it and run a MAP sensor. Your air inlet system will then be a lot easier to plumb and seeing as you're going to be using an aftermerket ECU it won't matter what you use.
