they're probably 35" but they just look so small with that huge amount of lift

Yeah, first of all, it's not my car. It's my friends!

The tires are Cooper S/T 35x12,5-16. He wanted 37 or 38" tires but theese sizes are hard to find here in Sweden. Ok, boggers and super swamper is an option... But not to fun on the road!

The lift is 6" lift coils, longer shocks, and 2" bodylift. On the pics he hasn't fixed the panhard bars angle yet, but now he has.

He has also 4:88 gears so bigger tires won't be a problem!

It's a hell of a car! Almost unstoppable and it also handles well on the road!

I know the terrain that this one gets driven over but I think it would be a fair guess that looks is why it is lifted so high.
As Bogged has pointed out 36's can be made to fit very easiy with only a 3"lift. But another important thing to concider is how do you get in and out of the bloody thing. My car has bugger all susp lift, 50mmBL and 35's and the fridge (which does sit on a draw system) can be hard to reach the bottom. And I am 6ft tall so I aint short.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY....

remember dudes...a lift is not only for fitting the biggest tires you can. It also provides more clearance for the chassis.
