What does a 10.5R15 measure then? I always thought they were a 31" and my 7.50x16's were bigger diameter, maybe only 32 on the tape measure for a Road Gripper, but my 7.50x16 bar tread muddies were sertainly a bit bigger again.

You may be thinking of the width, 31x10.5r15 where 31" is height and 10.5" is the width?

From what ive seen tyres vary a bit in height from what is written on them, i've got some 36x12.5" centipedes in my lounge and they're closer in height to 35" mind you they don't have air or wheels yet... :D

The 7.50 16s my ute came with were 33" tall. Measured 15.5" at hub (loaded static radius). No problems going up hill (Especially after pump rebuild).
89 gq dx. bone stock --- for now.

I have bought two GQ's forclose to $5000 each. They both needed very little work for rego and go really good. Buy a GQ.
