I just got off the phone with ARB - I called regarding their range of bullbars for the Ra Rodeo. My model is a 2wd but that asside it would prove to be both useful and provide more saftey.
However they said there is a difference between the 2wd and the 4wd models .
A mate of mine is a mechanic for holden and has assured me that the high ride 2wd model which I own has the same chassis etc as the 4wd model.
Can anyone provide more of an insight into this for me?
Paul
PS: ARB bars are cheaper than most other places which is why im trying to pursue this problem.

ARB - Ra Rodeo bullbar
Moderator: Moderators
Not sure on the RA but I have a 97 model 2.6 litre with ARB winch bar and it has a different bullbar to the 98 onwards V6 even though it is the same shape body. Apparently the difference is that the 98-03 Rodeo front radiator grill sits lower than the 97. The 98-03 also has an airbag compatible bar.
Why not go to ARB and say if they can fit the bar you will buy it. It is a sale after all.

Yup, well at the moment the sales person i'm dealing with at ARB is talking to holden about it and should be getting back to me about it tomorrow hopefully.
Ive spoken to other companies about this and they dont see any difference, they 4wd bars fit 2wds, however they are more expensive.
Would anyone have any pics of a ARB bar on a RA rodeo?
Thanks

ARB steel bars quoted price is for black powder coat. If you want colour matching I think that is another $200. They don't do polished steel however they do have polished alloy. If you get their catalogue the colour coding is discussed at the front somewhere.
