Wanna hear a funny story....

Post by Grantw »

Has a guy ring me about my pajero yesterday... Was interested to know how it handles at high speed. I explained that with the swaybar on and shocks set to hard, it handles 110kmh fairly well and thats fully loaded. He proceeded to tell me that he drives at 160kmh   loaded. I started being a smart ass and said that he would need to stop for fuel every hour at that speed! That was not a problem because he will be towing a trailer that will have fuel and gear in.

I laughed so hard........... I thought it was a prank caller but this dude was fully serious.

However if he has cash i dont care how he drives it

um i am a bit confused here, i got the 3L and have wound it up to 170km and it was still pulling, shame the corner was too. The Pajaro is a brilant on road car that can handle high speed and corners farken well to. The breaks do have a tendecy to catch on fire but that requres alot of corners and a good hill :)
Cut down Sierra cab on extended LWB chasie running, Hilux front and Bundy back, with a 4AGZE should be finished about umm soon. A 60 Series work truck and some go fast toys too.

Everything is for sale for a price. Definately wont give it away, so I may have it for another week, or even another year.... I will deal with it when a serious buyer comes along.... I dont get attached to vehicles like some people do. If I regret selling it down the track, I can easily build another.
