Ways to deal with raising the front shock in coily sierra?

Post by yossivarman »

I want to raise my coily sierra without bodylift -
I know that there is no suitable front raised shock absorbers for the coily
Does the only way is to to weld the coilover spring bracket to the new raised shock
p.s. sorry for my english

snake racing and suzi west sell ranchos with the spring mounts welded on. If you want to keep the original shocks then you can lower the shocks by simply putting a spacer between the top of the shock tower and the bush on top of the shock.
you cant get very much out of this though because you only have a few centimeters of thread on top of the shock to play with.

you would have to measure the distance to find out wat rancho you would need with your lift

I'll post a pic tomorrw but in essence it is like a 1" thick donut with a hole big enuff to fit over the shock.
