suspension for f75 rocky
Hi
I know this topic is getting really worn out,
BUT...
Like everyone else I don't want to go throwing my money away.
I want the softest ride possible with the most travel. The most I will be carrying is our camping gear or towing our half rusted out trailer.
The guys at the ARB shop suggested lovells springs at $1500 fitted - this will give us lift at the same time and suggested OME shockies at $500.
Also we are going to be giving it a body lift of 1" because we learnt that our new bigger tyres scrubbed in the front guard when upward travel was it its most their quote was $200 if we did it with everything else.
I did try searches but not really many straight answers.
We are also putting in an intercooler from an RX7 and uping the boost so that should be interesting!!
Will try to send pics and keep you posted.
Sorry to bother but any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

i think ur tyres will hit the springs at full lock... unless there
offset already..
superior sell enforcer lift kit. for 1080 (check website)
F&R leaves 50mm lift
F&R shocks
F&R poly kits
F&R u bolts.
and a one inch lift is weak..pretty sure u can have 2" legally in QLD
other than that is ur car a stock TD

We were told that any body lift needs mod plates. Guys at ARB said only increasing it a small amount it will just look as though we have replaced the body blocks because they will still look similar to standard ones (doesn't make sense to me but hey I'm a girl). The tyres are only just touching so I don't want to go to high, I may even cut a small amount out on the inside of the flares.
Currently it has ironman suspension all round. I am told the rear has been lifted about 3" but the front is standard (done by previous owner). It has 7 leaves in the rear and 5 in the front. You practically need a chiropractor after everytime you drive it!!!! Although the bigger tyres have helped and the fact I am running lower pressure in them.
The wheels don't touch on full lock because our wheels are offset. Apart from that it is pretty stock.
Will the superior suspension give me more travel?

We got a quote today from my brother in law who works in spare parts and he has ordered us in a set of leafs. They are a generic brand but have the same warranty etc. the springs are meant to be the softest riding ones on the market, they will give us a 50mm lift and more travel and they are only going to cost $546 for the set.
At a third of the price I think they are a go-er.

being not that far away from redcliffe try redcliffe springs and suspension and ask for paul. i went with beltin springs 2 inch lift no body lift yet but i fit 31" extreme trekkers under mine. also consider running adjustable shocks like ranchos that way it can be as soft or as hard as you like
