Nother one bites the dust...

Post by Muddy999 »

Well the day has come (or will tommorrow) the Mudwhumper is going to a new home. I have traded my sometimes faithful (other times shitful) steed in on a new vehicle. Muddy is now the proud owner of a 3.0ltr Hilux SR5 with all the goodies. Operation 'Lone Ranger' is already on the drawing boards.
The hassles/costs getting parts, the worsening ride and also the fact that I am just sick of kicking about in the Rocky all contributed to it's demise. I had some fun in the vehicle, however I cannot say that I am sorry to see it go.
I will from time to time drop by no doubt, however it is off to another brand I go.

Cheers,
Muddy

 Remind all you want boy...walked into a well known auto parts distributor today and I could walk up to the counter and get a clutch, or a viscous coupling, or a tie rod end, accelerator cable or any other part right there and then. i am so chuffed right now that all the reminding in the world is worth nothing...
Hmm what to replace first, have snorkel, bar, ute liner...maybe a Long Range tank. Is our friend still working at Out of town?
